About Us

For me, jewelry was never meant to be the one and only love, the one you marry and have children with. If something happened to me was a striking over-the-heels love, out of the blue, as the most beautiful things in life happen.

Of course, having as father a goldsmith, I grew up running around in his studio, and I somehow always felt a strong affinity to anything related to his art. As a child, I enjoyed watching him getting his hands absurdly black and holding at last a miraculously shiny ring. I had always this image on my mind, but it never occurred to me to put myself in his place. My passion was history.

One night, my dad came in, tired and dirty as always, but with a huge smile at his face and he offered my mother a golden necklace, celebrating their 15th anniversary. Looking at my excited mother wearing it, for the first time I started noticing the details, the fine metal, the colors, the true art. And it stroke me, just like that. It was a true incarnation of history, the simplicity coming from ancient Greeks and the luxury coming from Oriental world, as described in my beloved books. How many times in your life you have the chance to touch the history, let alone creating it by yourself? So I did it.

25 years later, after completing by bachelor degree in jewelry and having worked with numerous goldsmiths before returning to my father’s business, I officially followed the steps of the man I most admire of, my father. Now, we are combining traditional craft methods with the most modern ones, creating classic jewels inspired by the past but crafted for the future. Our 60 year old studio, in the heart of the center of Athens, in Monastiraki, overflowing with my father’s accumulated experience, and my fresh mindset, acquired an online sister, giving us the opportunity to create unique jewels without borders.

We are looking forward to meeting you all if you come by our beautiful city. But if you don’t, there always will be somebody here, either the father or the son or our amazing colleagues who help us completing your orders (my father still looks after the tiny details, without letting anything be sent without his prior approval, this remains our biggest fight). After all we are a family business.
